Amir Chishti and Ali Farhan, the owners of Karachi's Darul Sehat, managed to flee the court after their bail was cancelled on Tuesday. They have been named in the FIR in the death of a child at their hospital because of medical negligence.

Nine-month-old Nashwa Ali passed away on April 22 after being administered an incorrect dose of drugs at the hospital on April 7. She suffered brain damage as a result.

The district and sessions court rejected their petition asking for an extension of their bail too.

They challenged the inclusion of Section 302 (Murder) of the Pakistan Penal Code in the FIR too.

The case's challan was submitted to the court on May 3. Doctors and hospital staff are among 25 witnesses named in the challan.
