Former president Asif Ali Zardari submitted on Saturday his written reply to NAB in the fake accounts case.

He submitted his written reply through his lawyers, in which he denied all the charges against him. He said he had no connections to the fake accounts and knew nothing about them.

They are not in my name nor have I ever operated any such account, he said in his reply.

He and his son Bilawal Bhutto Zardari appeared before NAB on March 20. They were questioned for an hour and a half by two NAB teams and told to submit their written replies to questionnaires put to them by March 30. Zardari had asked for 10 extra days to submit his reply.

NAB recently asked the Islamabad High Court to cancel the bail granted to the former president in three cases.
