WATCH: House demolished with a 50kg bomb after Peshawar operation

April 16, 2019

Five suspects were killed in the operation

Peshawar's Bomb Disposal Unit destroyed a house in Hayatabad's Phase 7 using a 50-kilogram bomb after the completion of an operation against terror suspects on Tuesday. Five suspected terrorists were killed in the operation.

The house, which was exploded, was the same one where the suspects had been living. The BDU said that the explosion was necessary as there were explosive materials inside it.

This video shows the house being demolished after the bomb goes off.

i don’t think this will be liked by the owner of the house. Will the govt build the house again for him/her? Demolishing a building is not a solution for removing explosives.

Sabeen..the owner of the house deserves this..I support the actions of our armed forces..The owner of the house must be found and asked if he did a background check on the tenants before renting out the house..

Congratulations and bravo for our forces and the locals in that area.
If the house has been abolished with a fear of live ammunition, then what will happen when the debris will be removed. Will it not be dangerous for locals and the labourers? Can any expert explain it for us?

The explosions were deafening. Our houses jolted so badly that they were going to collapse. This was not the proper way to defuse the explosive material.

The owner of the house have already provided the required documents to the forces which includes NOC for renting a house in Hayatabad territory. On the other hand if the owner of the house is still founded guilty, what about the demages occured to the property and asset’s of the other residence of the street and specifically to the house opposite to the the demolished house and of ofcourse to the vehicles.

I think that was not a proper way to dismantle the expensive. what will happen to explosives when debris removed.I think they wanted to give a lesson to owner and others owners.

I think thàt was necessary to do that to avoid such incidents in future had the owner of that house followed the state given guidelines before giving his house on rent by sharing all the identities of the tanents with local police this incident would not been happened.the destruction of the house will make the other people aware of taking care in such dealings.well done pak security agencies.

Very unprofessional job by the security forces. It seems the security personnel only knows how to kill people and demolish property and nothing else.

Usually in the west, the police would collect the smallest bit of evidence they could find..but i guess this doesn’t exist within our security.. I think they destroyed valuable evidence as usual.

This act seems insane. The objective behind demolishing the house is not clear.
