Two men who allegedly sexually harassed a Canada-based model were arrested on Thursday in Islamabad.
The accused have been identified as Hamza Sohail and Anas Kamran. The police traced the accused through the car’s registration number.
Canadian model and humanitarian worker Assma Galuta had filed a case against them after the two began harassing her and telling her to get into their car in the Bahria Town Phase 7 area on Tuesday.
Because they were following her, she said that she had to change her drop-off location of her Uber and hide at a nearby mall until she thought they had gone.

Galuta has been married to a Pakistani man since 2018 and is currently visiting the country to raise awareness about social injustices relating to Afghan refugees.
