KP CM says terrorists cannot weaken people's resilience
Three Levies personnel were martyred while one others were injured on Saturday in a blast at a Levies check-post in Shewa tehsil of North Waziristan.
The attack took place in the Raghzai area of the district. One of the Levies personnel, Numboot Khan, succumbed to his injuries while under treatment. One other security official, Amad Allah, is injured.
The other two martyrs have been identified as Ameer Zaman and Abdul Wali. The security personnel were residents of the area.
The explosives were planted near a Levies check-post. According to an eyewitnesses, the bomb exploded as the Levies personnel arrived at the check-post.
Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Chief Minister Mahmood Khan has condemned the blast and extended condolences to the families of the martyred personnel.
“Terrorists cannot weaken our resilience through such attacks and we will eliminate terrorism,” said Mahmood. He remarked that no religion permits attacks on innocent people.
