The Sindh police’s emergency helpline 15 has been restored Saturday evening after being down all afternoon, the police said.
“All police emergency 15 lines are down since noon due to some major fault in underground NTC optic fibre,” a police spokesman had said.
The force hadn’t set up other phone lines for emergency services. In the evening, the police said a DRS wireless converter had been installed by the NTC. Calls are now being received.
