The ruling party had to call off the rally

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf's show of power in Karachi didn't go as planned. The party had to call off the rally after a fight erupted between its fans.

The stage was set and all preparations for the rally were completed at Gulshan-e-Iqbal's Mangal Bazaar ground.

Things turned sour after people started chanting slogans against party leaders while MPA Haleem Adil Sheikh was addressing the rally. The crowd chanted 'Go Adil Go' while the party leader took the stage.

Following this, a fight erupted between the people. Those attending the rally started throwing chairs at one another and some even pelted stones. Different things were thrown at the women's enclosure too.

The convention was eventually called off. PTI leaders such as Asad Umar, Ali Zaidi, and Firdous Shamim Naqvi couldn't even give their speeches.
