Nawab Aslam Raisani heads back to university after 30 years

Former Balochistan chief minister Nawab Aslam Raisani has enrolled himself in an MPhil programme. 

The 64-year-old will study political science at Balochistan University. He had completed his Master’s from the same varsity 30 years ago.

He told SAMAA TV that his request for admission has been approved.

Raisani said that he has enroled in the programme because he wants to learn. He clarified that he isn’t doing it to get a better post.

He said that he plans to do his PhD after getting his MPhil degree.”A person can continue to learn till his last breath,” said Raisani.

He served as Balochistan chief minister from 2008 to 2013.
