A child who went missing after his mother and sister were killed in Lahore has been found and handed over to the Child Protection Bureau.

CCTV footage surfaced of one-year-old Ahad being dropped off at a mosque by a man wearing a motorcycle helmet the same day his family was killed. The Dolphin Force handed him over to the bureau.

The police have arrested his father, Hassan Madni. They had earlier taken Hassan’s friend Bilal into custody.

The bodies of his mother Ayesha and five-year-old sister Amna were found at their house on Linton Road on Sunday. Ayesha was her Hassan’s second wife. She lived with her children in a separate house.

The police say the victims were killed four days before their bodies were found. There was a padlock on the house.

Ibrahim, Ayesha’s brother, said he hadn’t spoken to her for a few days. We opened the door with a duplicate key and found their bodies, he said.
