The remains of the suicide bomber in the Hazarganji attack have been sent for DNA testing.

Counter-Terrorism Department officials say that they are getting NADRA’s help to identify the attacker. They have also conducted geofencing of the area.

Nineteen people, including two children, were killed and over 40 injured on Friday after a suicide bomber detonated an explosive at a vegetable market in Quetta’s Hazarganji area, a predominantly Hazara neighbourhood.

Hazaras have been protesting since Friday and want the government to give them better security.
