Quetta’s Hazaras have announced to call off their sit-in four days after a suicide bomber blew himself in Hazarganji fruit market and killed 20 people.

Eight Hazaras were also killed in the attack.

The organisers of the sit-in decided to end it after talks with Balochistan Chief Minister Jam Kamal and Minister of State for Interior Shehryar Afridi in Quetta on Monday.

Speaking to the protesters, Balochistan CM Jam Kamal said that the people of the province rendered huge sacrifices to bring peace.

He said that the situation in Balochistan can’t be improved in a day.

Mr Kamal praised Shehryar Afridi and said he is the only minister who visited Taftan twice to witness the problems of pilgrims.
