The Sindh High Court ordered on Tuesday NAB to submit a report on bribery accusations against one of its officers. The report will be submitted on June 11.
Investigating officer Nadeem Sajjad has been suspended, said NAB DG Farooq Naseer told the court. “An inquiry has been launched against him.”
The petitioner, Imran, has accused Sajjad of asking Rs1 million bribe from him. He said that the investigating officer called him to his house at 2am. A builder, identified as Farooq, was with the NAB officer too along with a state agent.
He said that he has submitted a recording of the conversation as evidence in the case.
