A seven-day campaign was launched against violators

Sindh Inspector-General of Police Syed Kaleem Imam ordered on Sunday police officers in the province to remove official Sindh police licence plates from their vehicles.

The restriction was placed because an increasing number of criminals have been roaming around with fake Sindh police licence plates on their vehicles and escaping detection by the police.

A seven-day campaign was launched on March 19 against violators. The campaign is being run by the traffic and district police.

Those found with Sindh police licence plates on their motorcycles or cars will be subject to legal action.

He didn’t mean these number plates but the ones they are using on their privately owned vehicles. This should have been done a long time ago

I agree with Farhan Khan. To use an official number plkat on a private car is a crime, which the bpolice has been indulging i in so mecilessly. Good move by IG.

And what about green number plates who registered and got private no: and fixed green no plate with private no, and also advocates using green no plate in private vehicles .
