Pakistani security forces rescued four Iranian soldiers after an operation in Amori, Balochistan.
The ISPR announced the operation early Thursday.
Security forces conducted the operation in district Chaghai’s Amori, around three to four kilometres from the Pak-Afghan border.
Suspected militants of a proscribed organisation were reported to have entered Pakistan from Afghanistan along with the abducted Iranian soldiers.
After an exchange of fire, four Iranian soldiers were recovered from a ‘transitioning hideout’. They are being handed over to the Iranian authorities.
