PTI leaders fire back at Bilawal over his accusations that three federal ministers have ties to banned outfits

The PTI has fired back at PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari for his claims that three federal cabinet members have ties to banned outfits.

PTI Karachi President and MPA Khurrum Sher Zaman and Senator Faisal Javed Khan have condemned the 70-minute long press conference Bilawal held at the Sindh Assembly building on Wednesday during which he made these claims.

Sher Zaman questioned the PPP chief over his connections to gangster Uzair Baloch and the Peoples Aman Committee. He alleged that PPP leader Faryal Talpur, who is also Bilawal’s aunt, and Sindh Chief Minister Murad Ali Shah were in contact with Baloch. “PPP leaders headed the People’s Aman Committee,” he claimed.

Meanwhile, Senator Khan said the misdeeds of the Bhutto family are out in the open, referring to a book by Ron Suskind, The Way of the World.

In the book, Suskind wrote that the former premier had a conversation with her son, Bilawal, in which she told him about the secret bank accounts holding the family’s allegedly ill-gotten fortunes. Senator Khan was referring to the fake bank account cases against Bilawal and his family.

During his press conference, Bilawal alleged that at least three federal ministers have links to banned outfits. He demanded that the ministers be sacked.

“These individuals must be immediately removed from Imran Khan’s cabinet,” he had said.

He also alleged that one minister publicly met with members of banned organisations during the election campaign.
