China has once again called Pakistan its ‘iron brother’ and welcomed the deescalation with India along the Line of Control.

“China played a vital role in defusing the conflict between the two countries [Pakistan and India],” said China’s foreign minister, Wang Yi, at a press conference on the sidelines of the second session of the 13th National People’s Congress. “Islamabad and New Delhi should meet each other to deescalate the crisis.”

Pakistan and India will turn the crisis into an opportunity, he hoped.

Wang called upon the two nuclear capable neighbours to ‘turn over a new leaf’ and bring about long-term improvement in their bilateral relations.

“We [Pakistan and China] can create a better future through cooperation when confrontation gives way to dialogue and disagreements are settled by goodwill,” he remarked.

“Chinese dragons and Indian elephants won’t clash. Instead, they will dance with each other,” Wang replied to a question.

China is one of Pakistan’s closest allies. Beijing has poured billions of dollars into the South Asian country as part of the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), a massive infrastructure project that seeks to connect its western province of Xinjiang with the Arabian Sea port of Gwadar in Balochistan.

The project is one of the largest in Beijing’s Belt and Road initiative, comprising a network of roads and sea routes involving 65 countries.

Well Mr. Wang Yi, China can only prove to be Pakistan’s “iron brother” if it understands the principle on which Pakistan was founded – Islam and your country has shown brutalities on Uyghurs of China – the Muslims of China and conducting a genocide on them is not going to win you and your country any fans inside Pakistan. We understand CPEC eventually is for China because the collateral development of Pakistan is inevitable. If it isn’t CPEC it would have been another project but to call Pakistan iron brother and to undermine Muslims and their rights are being taken away with force, the right to pray, the right to fast during Ramadan, the right to have beards basically you are uprooting Islam in your country so you are a hypocrite and so is your president Xi.
To help Pakistan on JF-17 also helps your cause of selling it countries like Nigeria and Myanmar – another murdering state who is eradicating the Roghinya Muslims. So in short, stop the murder of Uyghur Muslims in China! also, Iron brothers don’t just promote the FC-1 into JF-17 they give J-20 or J-16 – PAF will re-write aviation history with such hardware and you will get big orders. So Mr. Wang Yi, dont just talk to talk but walk the talk.

Your incoherent babbling and rabid support for fake news reporting from neoliberal media is truly unbecoming.. I thought Pakistanis are smarter than that. Last but not least,if you want better hardwares from China, you should prove your worth instead of launching nonsensical tirades. Even the US refuses to export their F-22. Pakistan should make a convincing case for why China should sell their state-of-art hardwares to you.

According to a revelation by Gen, Pasha (ex DG ISI) Pakistani government of Zia and ISI closely coordinated with Israeli Mossad to counter Soviet threats. Furthermore, ACM Sohail Aman himself signed deals with Myanmar to sell their home grown JF-17 to promote the jet fighters and increases Pakistan’s share in weapons market.
