Pakistan on Friday submitted a dossier to the UN’s environment programme seeking to declare India an ‘eco-terrorist’ for damaging trees in an attack in Balakot on February 26.

The dossier was submitted by Malik Amin Aslam, Prime Minister Imran Khan’s adviser for climate change. It said that Indian jets dropped their payload in a forest before fleeing back after an intrusion into Pakistan’s territory.

Advisor to PM Malik Amin Aslam said the purpose of this document is to let the world know that Pakistan is serious in protecting its environment.

The dossier urged the international community to ask New Delhi to pay compensation money for causing damages to natural assets, especially trees and forests.
