Fuel prices may go up if the government approves the new summary of the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority.

OGRA has recommended an increase of Rs11.91 in petrol prices, Rs11.17 in high-speed diesel, Rs6.49 in light diesel, and Rs6.65 in kerosene oil.

The summary has been forwarded to the petroleum ministry. Prime Minister Imran Khan, however, will take the final decision in this regard.

If approved, the new price will be implemented from April 1, 2019.
