No roads will be dug up in Quetta for the next six months

March 17, 2019

The Balochistan home department has imposed a six-month ban on digging up and cutting roads in Quetta.

It has imposed Section 144 in the city for six months, under which roads cannot be dug up or cut. The ban will be on both private companies and government institutions.

For any sort of digging, a no-objection certificate needs to be obtained from the local government.

Action will be taken against people who violate the ban.
