It will meet next month in Karachi

The FIA formed a new JIT to investigate the 2013 murder of former Orangi Town Pilot Project Perween Rahman.

It will be headed by the agency’s director of its anti-terrorism wing, Mazhar Kakakhel. Representatives of the Rangers, security agencies and the CTD will be a part of the team.

As per the federal government’s directives, the first meeting of the new JIT will be held in Karachi in April.

Rahman was killed in 2013 in Karachi’s Manghopir by assailants on a motorcycle.
