Naeem died in the NZ terror attack trying to tackle the shooter

Amber Rashid, the wife of Naeem Rashid and mother of Talha Naeem who lost their lives in the terror attack on two mosques in New Zealand's Christchurch, is proud of her husband and son because they “sacrificed their lives to save others.”

Naeem and his 22-year-old son Talha were among the 50 people who lost their lives on Friday in the mass shooting in New Zealand. The attacker was later identified as Brenton Tarrant.

According to eyewitnesses, Naeem risked his life to save others and tried to tackle the shooter. He can also be seen doing so in a video of the attack at the Al Noor mosque. Amber said she felt sorry for the attacker because “he had hate in his heart.”

“But we have a heart full of love,” she told TRT. “My husband and son had a heart full of love so they sacrificed their lives to save others."
