Police have been given his physical custody for four days
A man who has been accused of torturing his wife and shaving her hand has been remanded into police custody for four days.
His servant, identified as Rashid, has been remanded too.
A local court issued their remand orders on Thursday. The case is being investigated Investigation DIG Inam Waheed.
Faisal confessed to the police that he tortured his wife. He said that he and his wife were under the influence of ice when they had a fight.
He said that his wife started cutting her hair and he cut the rest of it in anger.
The police have added two more sections in the FIR against him for humiliating his wife and threatening to kill her.
Faisal was arrested on Wednesday after his wife accused him of torturing her because she refused to dance in front of his friends. The woman told the police that when she refused to dance for his friends, her husband, Mian Faisal, tied her to a pipe with ropes.
She said he had the male domestic staffers hold her down while he shaved her head and set it on fire. She was beaten routinely by her husband whom she married four years ago.
