FIA arrests man who fled murder charges to Saudi Arabia in 2012


A man accused of killing someone seven years ago was arrested by the FIA on Thursday. He was brought back to Pakistan with the help of Interpol.

The man, identified as Gulraiz Akbar, fled to Saudi Arabia in 2012 after he allegedly killed a man in Punjab.

The Punjab police had sent a request to have the suspect arrested.

He was brought back to Islamabad on flight PK-724 and has now been handed over to the police.
