PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari advised his social media followers to read, think, speak and ignore the “fascist trolls” who are running the country.
He wrote, “Is life now a fascist screenplay where if you don’t follow a script you are declared traitor?” He remarked that he has an ideology and it won’t change unlike the narratives of those in power.
The PPP scion has come on the radar following his explosive remarks against the government in recent press conferences. On March 20, he claimed that the government didn’t arrest the leaders of banned outfits but took them into “protective custody” to save them from Indian jets.
“They have been taken into protective custody so that the Indian planes don’t blow them up,” Bilawal told reporters in Islamabad. He was commenting on the federal government’s recent crackdown against banned outfits, including Jaish-e-Mohammad and Jamaat-ud-Dawah.
