The new courts have been built inside the premises of the sessions court

The newly-constructed model courts in Faisalabad remained empty on Wednesday as the judges have been protesting the top judge’s order to solve murder cases in four days.

The model courts have been built inside the sessions courts’ premises. Additional District and Sessions Judge Iftikhar Ahmed has been heading it.

The lawyers said that it’s impossible for murder cases to be solved so soon.

When Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa took charge, he promised to improve the justice system in the country. One of the policies was for courts to announce the verdict in murder cases in four days.
