Both members from treasury and opposition benches in their resolutions said that Indian’s aggression on LOC will escalate the tensions between Pakistan and India. Such tension in a war-like scenario between two nuclear states will jeopardise the regional peace.

Ministers Chaudhary Shahzad Mehmood, Muhammad Ahmed Raza Qadri, Chaudhary Rukhsar Ahmed, Mushtaq Ahmed Minhas, Chaudhary Masood Khalid, Syed Shoukat Ali Shah and MLAs Hassan Ibrahim, Mian Yasir Rasheed and Ghulam Mohyudin in their speeches said that the United Nations and other world bodies should take a serious notice of India’s expansionist designs and play their role in defusing the tension between the two countries.

Without resolving the core issue of Kashmir, peace in South Asia will remain only a dream, they said.

The members lauded the morale of civilian population living alongside LOC and working boundary and assured them of all out support in this critical time.
