It approved his request to postpone his appearance
Former president Asif Ali Zardari’s appearance before the FBR in a tax evasion case has been postponed till April 10.
The JIT investigating the money laundering and fake accounts case against him and other PPP leaders had asked Zardari to explain whether he had paid taxes on the cars he had declared were his.
He is accused of not paying Rs37 million in taxes on his vehicles.
Zardari submitted a request to have the FBR appearance postponed till April 10, on which date he will submit an answer to all the allegations against him.
He said he wants to look over the JIT report before appearing before the FBR.
