National Accountability Chairperson Justice (retired) Javed Iqbal will personally investigate the alleged suicide of former ISI Peshawar director Brigadier (retd) Asad Munir.
The NAB chief has summoned NAB Rawalpindi to submit all records in this regard to him.
A press release issued by NAB on Monday confirms this development.
Chief Justice of Pakistan Asif Saeed Khosa had taken notice of the case on March 21. The noted defence analyst passed away at his house in Islamabad on March 15.
The house is located in the Diplomatic Enclave. Brigadier (retd) Munir had served as a member estate of the CDA as well. NAB decided on March 14 to file a reference against him and several others for allegedly abusing their powers to restore a plot in F11, Islamabad while violating rules and regulations.
