FIA registers case against Abbottabad man for blackmailing woman with objectionable videos

The Federal Investigation Agency has registered a case a man, identified as Malik Arshad Aziz, for blackmailing a woman on social media.

The accused threatened her to pay him otherwise he would release her obscene videos on WhatsApp.

The woman, a resident of Abbottabad, lodged a complaint against him.

The investigating agency has conducted many raids to arrest the suspect.

FIA also arrested a suspect, identified as Luqman Ghani, for stealing money from people’s accounts. He was detained from Dunyapur near Bahawalpur on Friday.

The cyber crime cell said that the suspect was an employee of Omni Group. He used to steal people’s data and stole money from them by making fake accounts. He had opened for more than 1,200 fake accounts.

Ghani would transfer the money after stealing it. The maps of banks across the country were seized from him.
