A woman has registered an FIR at the Clifton police station in Karachi against a dog’s owner for attempted murder.

When Dr Shaha Arif exited her house November 26, her neighbour’s pit bull attacked her, leaving her with wounds on her face, arms and legs.

Soon after the incident she lodged an FIR against the dog’s owner at the Clifton police station. The owner fled but his dog was taken into custody. It has now been released on bail and the police are searching for the owner.
