Landmine blast injures four people in Dera Bugti

At least two are in critical condition

At least four people have been injured when a landmine exploded in the Tali Mat area of Dera Bugti, Balochistan.

The blast occurred when a passenger vehicle went over the landmine on Friday. It was so loud that the sound of the explosion reverberated in the surrounding areas.

The injured were immediately taken to the PPL Welfare Trust Hospital in Sui. At least two people are in critical condition.

A heavy contingent of Balochistan Levies, Frontier Corps and other law and enforcement agencies arrived at the scene. The area has been cordoned off and and investigations are under way.

According to hospital sources, the injured has been identified as Liaquat Ali, Teela, Faizullah and Shahzeb from Punjab.
