FIR registered in Chinese Consulate attack

It includes sections of terrorism, possession of explosive material, murder and attempted murder

An FIR was registered on Saturday in the attack on the Chinese Consulate in Karachi.

The FIR has been registered on the orders of the Boat Basin police station SHO. It includes sections on terrorism, possession of explosive material, murder and attempted murder.

The Chinese Consulate, located in Clifton’s Block 4, came under attack at around 9:30am on Friday morning. Two policemen, two civilians and three terrorists were killed in the attack.

The attackers were killed by snipers. No consulate staff were injured in the attack.
