October 19, 2018
The opposition will present its reservations on the newly announced budget

The Punjab Assembly will meet today (Friday) to discuss its budget. However, six members of the opposition were not allowed in.

Chief Minister Usman Buzdar presented the Rs2.03 trillion budget on October 16 and leader of the opposition Hamza Shahbaz will present his reservations on Friday.

After protests two days earlier, six MPAs have been barred from attending the session. The opposition staged a protest outside the assembly, saying that the MPAs should be allowed to attend.
