Farooq Sattar indicted in loudspeaker violation case

The case was registered in 2015

Muttahida Qaumi Movement Pakistan (MQM-P) leader Farooq Sattar has been indicted in a loudspeaker violation case.

The hearing was held in Karachi city court on Wednesday. The court has indicted Farooq Sattar, Waseem Akhtar and other MQM leaders in the case for violating the Loudspeaker Act. Sattar pleaded not guilty to the charges.

A case was registered against the MQM leaders in the Soldier Bazaar police station in 2015 for using a loudspeaker in the red zone.

The court summoned the witnesses on October 17 and adjourned the case.

MQM-P leaders Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui and Haider Abbas Rizvi have been declared as absconders.
