Two children have been killed and 10 injured after a school van caught fire in Muzaffargarh’s Qasba Gujrat.

A gas cylinder exploded in the van while the children were on their way home from school.

Some children were able to escape but 12 were caught in the explosion. The injured children have been taken to the nearby district headquarters hospital.

They were students at a private school.

After the van caught fire, the driver fled but the police say they have now arrested him.
