PTI MPAs in Sindh voted for the leader of the opposition in the Sindh Assembly and have elected Firdous Shamim Naqvi. His name has been sent to Prime Minsiter Imran Khan for final approval.
The party’s 28 MPAs in the assembly voted for the next leader of the opposition, reported SAMAA TV correspondent Faisal Khan.
The contest was between Naqvi and Haleem Adil Shaikh.
Shaikh received 13 votes while Naqvi received 15.
The opposition leader in the last assembly tenure was Khawaja Izharul Hassan of the MQM.
