Police suspect two victims found in Karachi’s Federal B Area were killed for ‘honour’

Two bodies were found in Block 21 of Federal B Area in Karachi and the police believe they were killed in the name of ‘honour’.

According to the authorities, the bodies were found in a house in the locality.

The bodies have been identified as Umair, 18, and Asmat, who was around 35 years old.

The local SSP said that they were murdered in an apparent honour killing. He said the woman’s husband killed them and fled.

The police arrested the husband, Sabir, and his father-in-law, said SHO Shafiq Afridi. According to the law enforcers, the suspect killed his wife and neighbour after coming home on Saturday night and finding them together.

The bodies have been sent to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for postmortems. No case has been registered yet.
