Imran Ismail of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf has taken oath as the 33rd Governor of Sindh.
Chief Justice of Sindh High Court Ahmed Ali Shaikh administered the oath of the office of Sindh Governor to Ismail on Monday.
Imran Khan had approved Imran Ismail’s name in a party meeting on August 11, 2018.
After his nomination, Ismail had vowed to work with all the stakeholders. “We will take ten steps towards the stakeholders if they take one.”
“It is an important position and I will work with the PPP for Sindh’s development,” Ismail said.
Imran Ismail won the provincial election from Karachi’s PS-111. However, he resigned from his seat earlier in the morning.
