August 17, 2018

The PTI has nominated Usman Khan Buzdar as its candidate for the slot of Punjab chief minister.

Buzdar belonged to Dera Ghazi Khan and was elected an MPA from PP-286.

Imran Khan said that Usman Buzdar knows how poor people live their lives. “He is the only MPA who doesn’t have electricity at his home.”

Sardar Usman Buzdar remained Tehseel Nazim in 2001 and 2005.

The voting for the election of the Punjab chief minister will be held on August 19.

The PTI needs at least 186 votes to get Buzdar elected.

The PTI is the largest party in the Punjab Assembly with 179 seats, followed by the PML-N with 164 seats.

The PTI is in a comfortable position to form its government here as its ally, the PML-Q, has 10 seats.
