An Islamabad High Court bench formed to hear a petition regarding the disqualification of the PTI chief Imran Khan dissolved once again on Thursday.
The bench dissolved after Justice Athar Minallah recused himself from hearing the case. The petition filed by Abdul Wahab of the Justice and Democratic Party and Shuhda Foundation alleges that Imran does not fulfill the criteria mentioned in Article 62 and 63 of the constitution.
Recusing himself, Justice Minallah said that he can not hear an application filed by the party of former chief justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.
This is the second time the bench has been dissolved. Earlier, a bench comprising Justice Aamer Farooq and Justice Miangul Hassan Aurangzeb had recused itself from hearing the case.
