PTI’s Karachi leader Imran Ismail has been appointed as the 33rd governor of Sindh.
The notification of his appointment as Sindh’s governor was issued by the cabinet division after President Mamnoon Hussian approved it on the advice of Prime Minister Imran Khan.
He will take oath on August 27 at the governor house.
“Sindh’s development is my top priority,” governor Ismail said. “I will seek special funds for Sindh from the federal government.”
The people of Sindh will find me among them, he said. “I want to take all the political parties on board.”
Mr Ismail said that he will try his best to address the issues of the city through a special Karachi package.
