Interim Prime Minister Justice (retd) Nasirul Mulk and Chief of Army Staff General Qamar Javed Bajwa visited the house of ANP leader Haroon Bilour in Peshawar on Thursday and condoled with his family over his tragic death.
Bilour was killed in a bomb blast on Tuesday that also claimed the lives of 20 other people.
General Bajwa said that the Bilour family has rendered many sacrifices in the fight against terrorism.
The interim prime minister visited the Bilour house with the caretaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa chief minister while General Bajwa arrived with the Peshawar corps commander.
The army chief said that we have come far in the fight for peace and hopefully the end is near. He said they are fighting against those who spread hate and destruction.
Other political party leaders and workers also met the family to offer their condolences. Bilawal Bhutto Zardari was also expected to visit on July 12.
