The second death anniversary of late philanthropist Abdul Sattar Edhi was observed on Sunday.
He was born on February 28, 1928 in Gujarat, British India and died on July 8, 2016 at the age of 88 in Karachi.
Edhi founded the Edhi Foundation, which runs the world's largest ambulance network, along with homeless shelters, an animal shelter, rehab centres and orphanages across Pakistan.
He was honored with several awards on national and international levels for his services to humanity.
After his death, his son Faisal took over the Edhi Foundation.
