MQM-P leader Dr Farooq Sattar claimed that his party would win its traditional seats in the urban areas of Sindh.
“MQM’s vote is the 8th wonder of the world,” Dr. Sattar said, adding that he would win NA-247 election by beating PTI’s Arif Alvi and other candidates.
The MQM-P leader complained that the party was not given level-playing field ahead of elections. “MQM’s offices have not been returned.”
He said the recent delimitation exercise had divided MQM-P’s vote bank and damaged party’s mandate.
The PSP, an offshoot of MQM led by former Karachi Mayor Mustafa Kamal, is directly challenging his former party.
“The PSP will win 60 Sindh assembly seats,” Kamal told Mubasher Lucman. “We will form a coalition government in Sindh.”
