London’s Metropolitan Police released the sons of Maryam Nawaz and Hussain Nawaz on Friday, SAMAA TV reported.
Junaid Safdar, Maryam Nawaz’s son, and Zakariya Hussain, Hussain Nawaz’s son, were arrested on Thursday after they reportedly punched protesters outside the family’s London residence.
Junaid and Zakariya were interrogated about the incident, said the Met Police.

The protesters have been camped out outside the Sharif family’s London residence since an accountability court sentenced Nawaz Sharif and Maryam to prison for 10 and seven years respectively in what has come to be known as the Avenfield case.
Maryam Nawaz tweeted on Thursday: “The PTI workers stationed outside London shouted ‘son of a b***h’ every time they saw Junaid”.
