GDA not a threat for PPP in Sindh: Bilawal

July 17, 2018

PPP chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said on Tuesday that he does not consider Grand Democratic Alliance a political threat for his party in Sindh as ‘they are nothing but a puppet coalition’.

Talking to the media in Islamabad, Bilawal said that if they had done anything, they would not have tried to come in power through the back door.

PPP has faced such puppet coalitions in the past, the PPP chairman said. “I believe we will defeat them again.”

Bilawal said that PPP’s experience with Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif on the implementation of the charter of democracy was not positive. “However, I believe we need a broader consensus on the principles in the charter of democracy, not only with PML-N but with all the political parties that would form the government.”
