Bilawal vows strict action against non-performing lawmakers

Chairman Pakistan People’s Party chairman, Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, continued his election campaign on Tuesday to mobilise workers and masses for July 25 elections.

The PPP leader resumed his road caravan on the second day from Hyderabad. He addressed party workers at Latifabad, Qasimabad, Tando Jam, Hala, Matiyari and Shahdadpur.

He was welcomed by thousands of supporters throughout his road trip.

His last stop tonight would be in Nawabshah. It has been more than 24 hours since the PPP Chairman is on the road on his election campaign he kicked off from Karachi on Monday.

During his speeches, Bilawal Bhutto vowed to take strict action against all those MNAs and MPAs who, when elected, fail to perform their duties.

“If my party’s elected representatives cannot fulfill my late mother’s mission of empowering the people of this country, they will face grave consequences,” he said.

He said the PPP is not afraid of accountability.

“The people of Pakistan are my strength and I want to resolve their problems and deliver. We have given a people-friendly manifesto. I will make sure that it is implemented,” he said.

Chairman PPP said that in every election, an alliance is made against the PPP but this will not deter him or his party workers.

He urged people to vote for PPP to complete the unfinished agenda of Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Benazir Bhutto. “I hope you will not disappoint me,” he said.

Bilawal will continue his campaign trail in Sindh for a few more days before travelling to other parts of the country.

On Monday, Bilawal addressed party supporters in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gharo, Thatta, Sujawal and Golarchi before heading to Hyderabad.
