PPP Chairperson Bilawal Bhutto Zardari’s decision to bring his own security to Peshawar raises questions about PPP’s apparent lack of trust in the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa police.

Bilawal, who reached Peshawar on Friday, brought with him a contingent of the Sindh police’s Special Security Unit. After Bilalwal’s arrival, the KP police deployed at Arbab House, where the PPP chairperson is staying, were asked to leave.

The SSU has taken over Bilawal's security.

Bilawal also postponed his election rally in Malakand on Saturday. He said the people and party workers in Malakand have been expecting him to visit the area but he does not want to put their lives at risk.

He has also been advised not to leave Peshawar's Cantt area.
