Bilawal Bhutto kicks off Sindh election tour

Pakistan People’s Party Chairman, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, addressed his supporters on Monday in different cities, while leading an election rally from Karachi to Hyderabad.

The PPP chairman is on three-day visit to Sindh to hold public gatherings in an attempt to reach out to the voters ahead of the general elections.

The rally came a day after unidentified group of people pelted stones on Bilawal’s convoy as it passed through Lyari.

On his way to Hyderabad, Bilawal addressed the party supporters in Gulshan-e-Hadeed, Gharo, Thatta, Sujawal and Golarchi, where his convoy was warmly welcomed.

The PPP chairman’s procession will culminate at Hyderabad’s Fateh Chowk where he will address a large party gathering.

“PPP is the only party that has come up with an election manifesto. We will implement it to improve people’s lives,” Bilawal said while addressing a crowd in Thatta.

“I am here for the first time o running an election campaign, to ask you to vote for PPP. The way you supported Shaheed Zulfikar Ali Bhutto and Shaheed Benazir Bhutto, I know and believe that you will support me the same way,” he said.

Bilawal was accompanied by opposition leader in the Senate Sherry Rehman, former CMs Qaim Ali Shah and Murad Ali Shah, other PPP leaders Nasir Shah, Sadiq Memon, Sassui Paleejo and others.
