Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh, 22 others sentenced for 7 years in fake degree case

A district and session court on Thursday sentenced 23 people including Axact CEO Shoaib Shaikh for seven years in prison in the fake degree case that the company has been embroiled in.

The judgment was announced by the District and Session Judge Chaudhry Mumtaz Hussain. The accused were found guilty under section 419, 420, 468 and 470 of the Pakistan Penal Code.

Meanwhile, the court acquitted three others, including Ayesha Shoaib Shaikh.
